Top scorer could be on his way.
This is bad news, teams falling apart. Seems like a player leaving every week at the moment.

Isn't it strange that whilst we are all having to be more careful with our personal spending in these difficult financial times, Football Clubs from the Premiership right down to our level seem to think that they are all immune to cuts and savings and still insist on throwing money at players. Yate are obviously spending their Cup money to buy themselves out of trouble, but as the saying goes.. when it's gone, it's gone. I hope Scotty stays, but money usually talks.

If he goes he will be making a mistake, he has established himself at this level and is playing 90 minutes every week. They're in the same league as us therefore I cannot see how this move will benefit his career unless it is only about money?
If he goes to Yate he has to start all over again and will they be patient in his settling in period if he doesn't score or will they use their FA Cup money to get somebody else?
Sometimes it is not all about Money and he needs to be carefully advised. He is registered with Gloucester and trains Thursdays with them, the same applies for Camm who does the same with WSM. Both were at pro clubs from age of 8 to18 and probably both feel a bit unlucky how things have turned out for them. Im sure the same applies with Matt Barnes and others.
Therefore my advice to Scott is to stay here don't move for money, you are still only 19/20 and need to be playing every week, which is what you are getting here, don't chase the dollar. Stay and see If another club from a higher league want you if you keep banging in the goals!

nowt cut and dried about scott going yet, hese one of the lads surely he would have gone back to city to better himself im sure he was offered a new deal, going to yate is not a way of improving his standard as graham said when the moneys gone what then? short term fix

Hes a young, depends on how much money they wave at him. I wasnt botherd about Bater if im honest as we had other players better than him and he never played that great for us, maybe because of his injury. But Wilson will be a massive lose, hes still raw and needs to learn alot but with his pace he scared defenders to death, hope he stays as we have no pace up front if he goes.

Lack pace now though, but with Camm in the middle making runs should create space for our strikers
