Please see report I put on Pitchero tonight
New Stadium
Well at last I am able to squash the rumour mill regarding the Clubs new Stadium move, as many of you are aware there were three initial sites we reviewed, one has now been fully dismissed, thus leaving Forest E-ACT Academy site (formally Heywood School) and the second being the Tesco site on the top of Saint Whites.
The favoured site as the attached report to be published in Thursday Forester states is the Forest E-ACT Site, there are numerous reasons for that which I do not intend to go into at this time.
We are presently working up a brief with Byron Robson Sports to summit to Forest E-ACT prior to the year end which was agreed at recent meeting with the said party
As this decision is in the Hands of the Club Trustees , Committee and Membership it is my intension of holding numerous open meetings to discuss the plans and costs as we go forward please note NO Decision has been made at this time as the above will have the casting vote.
There will be many questions that you may wish to ask, all I can say is be patient if I am unable to answer, but there will be able chance for you to share your views wishes and even concerns at the proposed meetings that I intend to hold over the forthcoming months
This has to be the greatest opportunity the Club has had in the years that I have been working on this project, at last our chance to secure the Clubs future and reengage with the Community not only on the Football side but the Educational and Community
Lastly I have secured a six figure sum in sponsorship over five years with a business and hopefully will be in the position to tell in those future meetings, the deal has been agreed in principle and solicitors are writing it up we just have to find the appropriate time to announce the news to the press and this will be driven by that Company and not us

“Bryan says my company has been working closely with Stuart Tait from the Football club on their relocation plans for several years To link with a Local School if this is achievable would be of a great benefit to the whole Community ,especially so in encouraging children from an early age to take up sport and also feel part of their local Football Team"
We still have along way to go but there is light at the end of the Tunnel
Come on you Town
Sorry couldn’t miss the opportunity

CINDERFORD Town Football Club is in preliminary talks with the Forest E-Act Academy (formerly Heywood School) over plans to build a state-of-the-art £2.2 million new football stadium on their land.
However, the football club is also still talking to Tesco about the availability of land at St White’s Farm, which was previously primed as the target for a Cinderford Rugby Club relocation.
Should the football club’s preferred move to the E-Act Academy site fall through, the St White’s Farm option could come to the fore.
Stuart Tait is the man behind Cinderford Town’s relocation drive. He says staying at The Causeway – the ground in Hilldene that has been their home for more than 50 years – is simply not an option, because it is falling down around them.
Should the move happen The Causeway ground would be sold to developers - with KW Bell the favoured option. KW Bell is also the favoured option for the development of the new stadium, in order to keep the work in the area.

CINDERFORD Town Football Club want to be playing in a new £2.2 million stadium within two years.
The club is in preliminary talks with the Forest E-Act Academy (formerly Heywood School) over plans to build a state-of-the-art new football stadium on their land.
However, it’s not a case of the football club moving onto school land solely for their own purposes. Both parties are looking to work together in a unique partnership that would see the football club assist the school by providing classrooms within the stadium as well as new sporting facilities.
Sport England is pivotal to any move happening,” said Cinderford Town’s Stuart Tait.
“I’ve been talking to the school for about four years and I think we could become the first of many football clubs around the country to move onto school grounds.
“It’s not about profit and it’s not just about Cinderford Town Football Club either. It’s about doing something for the community and I know Tanya Prosser (principal of the Forest E-Act Academy) shares my philosophy.”
The club still has a second possible option, a potential move to St White’s Farm, which is owned by Tesco.
Mr Tait added: “We cannot say right now that this is definitely going to happen because there are phases we have to work through. But it’s fact that we are talking to the school and that both parties are pushing in the same direction. It’s as much about the school as the football club.
“We can be of benefit to the school and the football club needs to get back to being part of the community.”
Should the move happen The Causeway ground would be sold to developers - with KW Bell the favoured option. KW Bell is also the favoured option for the development of the new stadium, in order to bring more work to the area.
Robson Sports, the business of former Manchester United and England player Bryan Robson, is responsible for the bulk of negotiations on Cinderford Town’s behalf. This includes talking to the Football Association over possible grants and negotiating directly with Sport England.
Robson Sports is a commercial property consultancy that specialises in developing community sports clubs.
The plan for Cinderford is to install a 3 or 4G playing surface rather than traditional grass. Mr Tait added: “I’d love to see more local footballers in our team. If this move happens, I honestly believe we will be playing in a higher league with a team made up of 50% local boys.”
