As others have said he's gone so goodbye. No player is bigger than the club (Even if you thought you were!!). If your not prepared to battle it out for your place in the starting 11 then your probably in the wrong place. SP clearly doesnt feel pressured into picking him given the lofty position of his father like other managers probably have.
Where does this leave Stu T? I have asked all the way along is Stu T in it for the people of Cinderford like he makes out he is? Time will tell I guess.......

When have past managers picked Tait on his reputation? He hasn't played for a long time due to injury. When fit, he is a good player. Sure, I remember times where he has been in bad form, but all players go through that. I think it's lazy and a throw away accusation that he has been picked on reputation. As for his Father, Stuart all we can go on is facts. He has put a lot of hours into this ground move. I think we should appreciate that. Also I saw him at Swindon on Saturday; which shows his support. This was always going to be the difficult situation 'what's going to happen when his son leaves?'. I believe everything will be fine. Stuart has been one of the main people regarding the ground move and obviously he wants to be here for the exciting times ahead. Only time will tell but this is what I believe anyway.

Ouch aut2012 your right ,Craig's played around 12 games in the past two years ,had 7 months off unpaid from work due to the injury , worked his sock off to get fit , during that period i have watched around 80 games home and away ,Saturday and Tuesdays evening and yes missed 4 sorry if that not commitment for you As for the people in Cinderford ,if spending numerous hrs on the Cinderford regeneration Board for the past 3 years is not enough oh and the small amount of time spent on the Ground move around 8 hrs minimum per week (unpaid) for the past 4 years then once again sorry if its not enough Just a suggestion aut2102 come and see me Tuesday night at the game with suggestions of where i can commit more time I would be extremely grateful for the feedback Lastly with regards to Craig ,hes been with the club around 7 years to date which i feel is pretty decent to say the least ,at no time has my position been influential in his selection ,that's been a prerequisite when all New Managers have come to the club ,also had Craig started all the matches to date this season I for one feel he would have come to the same decision ,and the reason will stay with him and no others ,anyway you never know he may return

It's really disappointing that Craig has decided to leave the club. He has been at Cinder's along time and he has been a great role model for the youngsters. Always puts in a great shift and can never doubt his work rate. I can't think of a time that he may have lost the ball and not got back to get it back. First game of last season up front v Stouport he was my man of the match in a position I've never seen him play. I was hoping this was a blue moment in Craigs mind and would be coming home soon. Especially with the injury situation at the club it would be a great chance for him to prove he's back to form and over his last two bouts on injuries. Finally, Craig was a great ambassador to the club and was always smiling in the bar and willing to chat to the fans. Good luck in the future Craig and hope to see you around soon....hopefully at the Causway !!!

aut2012 - spiteful and unhelpful - you sound like the Supermarine 'fans' on saturday who swiped at their side for the whole game!
If it wasn't for people like Stu and the others behind the scene you would not have a club to 'support'.
Anyway - is it a sin to support your son?

I'm sure Craig Tait is appreciated by most home supporters, and for all we know his reasons for leaving may be personal and not football related. I'm sure the Club would welcome him back in the future should he decide to give it another go. As for Taity Senior - doing a good job for the Club. Probably better than when he was a footballer!!!! :-)

some people are just out to spread negativity around the club! I trust stu and i am grateful for all his hard work. if it wasnt for stu and the ground move i would have stopped watching the Town a while ago.

Yeah there are some simple minded idiots around. I can't believe there are still people that are against the ground move. #movingforward
