Excluding the committee, there was between 20-25 paying fans from Cinderford yesterday. It wasn't the worst i've seen Cinderford this season, but still we didn't deserve to get any points there yesterday. I keep hearing how we have many injuries and players are playing with 'niggles'. That's fair enough, but surely with this big squad (the biggest Cinderford has ever had) that is a weak excuse? There are some big name players in our team who simply do not look interested. It is still early on in the season, so definitely will improve. We have to.

After the previous displays playing ball on the ground it was disappointing to see hoof and hope back again. Lee Smith should not be taking the penalties - end of! Dave Bird is a right back - Matt Barnes is a rightwinger - we need to be feeding Scott Wilson and Lee Smith attacking Balls - it seemed yesterday that we were training Scott to take on Usain Boult. After the recent results we saw a good away attendance - we all left disappointed.

Gutted, Your right, Matt Barnes is a winger not a defender, Bird is a right back and has played his best games there. Not sure whats going on behind the scenes, players having to much say in where they play? All very odd.

Dave Bird's best position is right back? Are you actually being serious? He played most of his professional football career in midfield. Why can't he play there for Cinderford? As for Scott; fair play to the lad. Some of his service this year have been borderline comical! I feel sorry for him as he's always chasing down lost causes. Good striker though and leaves nothing left on the playing field.

I agree Bird should play in midfield maybe the problem is who he plays with Feel we can only play with one wide man and that should be Barnes we need more legs in the centres maybe add another centre mid

Yes, he started in midfield and was quality, but hes lost his pace and energy now and like at Cheltenham moved to right back, for us hes played best at right back imo, our midfield lacks energy. Matt Barnes is a better winger than defender, though think Archer will come in at right back when fit and Barnes will move forward. We miss Andy Lewis at the back, Still not sure on Lee Smith, good in pre season against poor teams, not done anything so far this season imo. Maybe i was expecting to much from him, thought he would rip this league apart.

I definitely agree what discodave is saying about lee smith. In pre-season I thought he was the real deal. He hasn't had a good game for a long time.

I think the way we are playing does not suit lee smith and Scott Wilson it was long balls all the time it's frustrating watching granted !

To be fair guys I think his hand is being forced with regards to selection.
Matt Barnes is only playing there I can assume because warren and Ashley are injured, dan Harrison, Andy Lewis and Matt smith are out. Just to remind a few people that's the whole back 4 from the start of the season currently out injured.
Bater is playing with cracked ribs, and we've lost tait and not sure what's happened to nick Hancock? And then Lewis out up top as well. It's a lot of injuries for this level and let's not forget as poor as we may have been yesterday ( I wasn't there so can't comment too much) but if lee smith sticks his pen away we go 2 up and probably take something from a game in which we didn't play well so it's not all doom and gloom!!

Lee smith has played injured for 3 weeks apparently and he's done ok id say as lewis sommers has and scott wilson but not much quality being delivered or serviced to the forwards I think it has just been abit hit and miss this season so far for the whole team and its early days still so let's get behind Steve peters and the whole squad and cheer them hopefully to glory this season

Lee smith has played injured for 3 weeks apparently and he's done ok I dont buy into this at all. Right from day one everyone have been talking about players playing with injuries. If you are injured they shouldn't be playing. End of. Actually if he is injured, why doesn't Craig Tait or someone else who isn't playin regularly.
