Thought id start it early, cant wait for the season to get started now, got a couple of mates coming who dont normally go and watch, hopefully get them hooked. Will be good to see McCootie and Miller back at the causeway, though not sure if we will miss them as we now have Lee Smith, Rendall, Bater, Bird, need i go on? lol

Big mac - you readily admit to not going to many games LM - Smith! he does not play there! Randell - rm! come on - he's not played there! Lets start being realistic - the main position to fill is the striker.

Randell as far as i am concerned has only played 1 pre season game and not even sure how many training session hes been to ,word from what I heard from some of the players at the last home game was 2 training sessions so not even in my squad at this time So my side John, Archer, Lewis (still not quite sure on choice of centre half's) Lewis Smith Barnes Bird Bater Smith Tait or Evans Sommers Would play 4-4-1-1 And if Tait is not quite fit enough at this time then Evans Would have to say is difficult for the management team as there must be some many options ,great testament to the Club and its Management Come on Steve and co bring some cheer back to the club And if possible Taity senior to tell all us Town fans if there is news on the new ground as I have heard some many rumours

Looking at the Paulton pre season friendly results they have been scoring bags of goals with McCootie and Kris Miller scoring their share. We will have to watch the pace of McC. I think the league is the strongest its been for quite a few years,so a strong start by the Town is essential. Boxxon the Town .

I would stick with 4-4-2 John Archer, A Lewis , D Harrison, M Smith. Barnes, Bater, Bird, Lee Smith , Sommers. I would pick Harrison ahead of Greg as watching pre season Greg looks a bit slow.

Lets start being realistic - the main position to fill is the striker. True i havent been to many, just looked like he was playing LM/ST against Chippenham and looked good, Lee Smith can play anywhere to be fair, he can use both feet , unlike most players who are all one foot. Peters likes thie 4-3-3 , which in a way is what i ment, when attacking Smith and Rendall are the other two strikers, when defending it goes to a 4-5-1. Your right on Rendall, then i would move Smith to the right of midfield/attack and bring in Dean Lee on the left.

I find it very difficult keeping track with all the new players and faces. It takes me a season to remember who they are; then they are replaced. There really should be player bios in the programmes with player pictures. It would help recognising the players. I really do dislike Paulton. I have been to their ground a few times before and I have to say they are most un-welcoming. Perhaps they are still living off their cup run. Very arrogant club and I hope they fail miserably this season.
