Well smith came here as a striker remember so think he needs to play central or in the hole, then play Barnes wide as he's done ok pre-season in patches better than dean lee !!

I do worry about the pace paulton have going forward, but sure we can play round them.

A confident start to the season and a good all round performance. Three excellent goals from Lewis Sommers, Lee Smith & Matt Smith. After last seasons dismal home attendances, a gate today of 170+ is a healthy start and the way the team played should encourage fans back to the Causeway. As for Paulton, they really shot themselves in the foot with their two red cards. Officials today were pretty good overall, although I felt Lee Smith had a 100% penalty appeal which was turned down by the ref.

Good game, went 2-0 up looked comfortable, paulton never looked a threat, then they got frustrated and had a player sent off for elbowing Andy Lewis, then we lost are shape for a few mins. 2nd half we didnt start great and they scrored a soft goal. After that the expierance of David Bird, Gerant Bater told as they guided the younger players, then a great goal from Matt Smith killed them off.
Kriss Miller hasnt changed, falling over all the time and kicking out like a little boy, glad hes gone!

Great start, if we play the way we did in the first half hour or so, i dont think there will be many teams that will beat us.

Randell as far as i am concerned has only played 1 pre season game and not even sure how many training session hes been to ,word from what I heard from some of the players at the last home game was 2 training sessions so not even in my squad at this time So my side John, Archer, Lewis (still not quite sure on choice of centre half's) Lewis Smith Barnes Bird Bater Smith Tait or Evans Sommers Would play 4-4-1-1 And if Tait is not quite fit enough at this time then Evans Would have to say is difficult for the management team as there must be some many options ,great testament to the Club and its Management Come on Steve and co bring some cheer back to the club And if possible Taity senior to tell all us Town fans if there is news on the new ground as I have heard some many rumours Are you Steve Peters??? lol you picked the team
