My worry from last year was we have one way of playing, hitting it long for Sommers to flick on, then when hes out or the other team work it out, then what?
Whar did Danny Haines say?

What was the outburst? we were in amongst the Taunton people so didn't hear anything - however they found some of the decisions baffling ie the refs and the bench!

Should have had a keeper on the bench, end of. No need to have a go at our fans though!

Really? maybe hes off to Mangotsfield after all then lol The fact is like Discodave said, we had no keeper on the bench which is daft, this was always going to happen.

We got the best footballing midfield we ever had in Bird , Bater, Barnes , Tait and Lee Smith so we should start using them instead of hitting it long for Sommers to flick on, because when hes out we have no plan B, Sommers aint fit enough to play a whole game never mind a season, he shoyld be used as a sub to bring on, need to change our style of football to suite the players we got, fast paced skillfull players, not thump it long when even when Sommers aint on the pitch!

What's all the fuss so the keeper gets sent off will miss 3 matches Peters then needs to find another that's his job having spoke to players before the ban won't kick in until two weeks time. So he can play v Cirencester and FA cup game As for some of you saying we need a keeper on the bench I would never have one with only five subs and lets face it no keeper will sit there all season and just play the odd few games at this level
Ben John is still the best keeper we have had at the town for donkey years so lets get off his back and back the lads for Tuesday Does anyone know what happen to the tait lad and rendell ??

I very much hope that yesterday will be the worst we play all season. It was really a pathetic performance. It's a long season I know, but the fact of the matter is that yesterday was un-acceptable. Firstly, how are Taunton even in our league? They have no facilities! There was no club house, no bar and the toilets were a disgrace. If the Causeway was like that the FA would kick us out of the league straight away. It was a scrappy game and there was no room in the midfield to play. Time after time the ball was just played long hopelessly. The front two worked hard, but their service was poor and very isolated. Apart from Ben John, not one player had a good game. Ben John yesterday up until the 85th minute had a brilliant game. Two saves he made were world class. Then he needlessly got sent off for a off the ball incident. It's a shame as I thought he had his head screwed on last season. He will be out for 3 games, including the FA cup game next week. Also the club will be handed another costly fine. Well done to the travelling support. It was good to see that quite a few had made the long journey down. Let's keep up the support and hope that yesterday was just a one off.

Craig Tait is ill at the moment. It's not clear how long he will be off for. Rendell had work commitments what's all the fuss about? The fuss is that Ben John will miss 3 games, therefor we will be a weaker team because of it. Also because of his red card and the yellow cards for other players, the club will be hit with a £700 fine.

Agree with Causeway boy-but if Johnsey is out for the cup match(s),we will lose at least another £3k,if we lose.Backs to the wall lads lets get back to winning ways on Tuesday. FORGET Taunton match and Johnsey`s red card-he`ll make up for it when he returns and wont get sent off again this season.
