On reflection from yesterdays game I feel I owe some sort of explanation for my 'outburst' on Saturday afternoon. Firstly it was a very frustrating afternoon for everybody involved in the football club. The result and performance was not of the level that we have come to expect from the team. I and the team truly appreciate all the support that the people on this forum provide and yes of course you are entitled to your opinion, without you the club would not survive.
Let me make one thing clear. My outburst was not directed at any of the supporters in any way at all, but at a CTFC club official who made a comment directed at the manager and Ben. I regret my language but feel that the club official should not be making such comments publicly, particularly as it was Ben's first sending off in nearly 18 months. I feel as assistant manger it is my duty to protect and support our players throughout the season and I felt Ben was being unfairly criticized.
Sorry to any fans who took offense at what I said. Here's to a result and a better performance on Tuesday night.

Danny, full marks things are often said in the heat of the moment and it is refreshing that once you had time to reflect you sought to defuse the situation. I am certain everyone, management more than anybody want Cinderford to succeed. It is still early days but I am sure the team will have a good season. Let's all get behind the team, no ones perfect and we all make mistakes, otherwise we would be in the premiership.
